Gram Stain is one of the most widely used differential staining gechniques in bacteriology. This technique allows the differentiation of bacteria into the gram-positive and the gram-negative groups. The division of bacteria into these two main groups is of great value in the identification of many bacteria. This kit allows you to identify Gram-Positive and Gram-Negative cells. Included in this kit are 15 ml each of the Crystal Violet Solution, Gram's Iodine Solution, Safanine (counter-stain) solution, and 30ml of the Alcohol/Acetone Solution. Enough to do over 100 tests.
